The Whitby Yacht Club, as part of the Whitby Harbour Days Celebrations, is sponsoring a Sailpast to honour those who served in the convoys of the North Atlantic. The event will feature representation of each of the 156 ships lost. There will be a Shore Parade and Sailpast on the morning of Sunday, July 17th. We welcome all clubs around the lake to participate in this event and the weekend celebrations of Whitby Harbour Days. Complete details will be available shortly. A list of all ships lost is available on the WYC web site. If you have an interest in being part of this tribute, an early indication would give you the best choice of ship to represent.
