Ross MacDonald and Mike Wolfs Win Ontario Sport Awards Team of the Year

Thursday April 7th at the 38th Annual Ontario Sport Award cerimony held at the Ontario Science Centre, Ross MacDonald and Mike Wolfs were presesnted with the 2004 Ontario Sport Awards Team of the Year. With their outstanding performances in 2004 placing 2nd at the Spa Regatta in Holland, 12th at the Star World Championships and 2nd at the 2004 Athen's Olympic Games, Ross and Mike were well deserving of this award.

The other finalists nominated for Ontario Team of the Year included; Team Dunn a senoirs womens curling team from Cambridge, Ontario who have won 3 out of the last 4 National Titles and the World Junior National Water Ski Team who won the 2004 World Team Title while setting numerous world junior records.

This event saw many great athletes, coaches and volunteers recognized for their contributions to the world of sport in Ontario and with Marney McBean a former Olympic rower and medalist as Master of Cerimonies, this event was one to remember. 

Due to Ross and Mike's extremely busy schedule they were unable to attend the cerimony and Eric Cartlidge of Ontario Sailing accepted the award on their behalf.
