Feb 22 2005 Celebration of Sail a Success
Once again Ontario Sailing is happy to announce that our annual fundraising event Celebration of Sail was a huge success enjoyed by all attendees. Asbridges Bay Yacht Club, just east of downtown Toronto hosted the event and served a delicious meal to the 85 supporters of Ontario Sailing who attended the event.
The highlight of the evening was our guest speakers, Canadian Olympic Sailors John Curtis and Dierdre Crampton who spoke on their Olympic experience.
And for the third year in a row the unnoficial highlight of the evening was our witty and entertaining live auctioneer Craig Pattenson of Queens Quay Yachting who always does his utmost to make everyone laugh while raising funds to support sailing in Ontario.
Ontario Sailing would like to thank everyone who joined us as well as our sponsors who made our raffle and both our silent and live auctions a success.
