Ontario Wins Byte/29er Mid-Winters!!!

 February 9th-13th, 2005

Barb Wins Bytes

Ontario Byte and 29er sailors, Barbara Kaars-Sijpesteijn, Murray McCullough, Andrew Greer, Joanne Prokop, Alessandra Herrera-Bennett, Peter Dixon, Brian Blumer, Sarah Foscarini, Paula Foscarini, Trevor McEwen, and Chris Hewson travelled down to Stuart Florida to participate in the Byte/29er Mid-Winters.  With good wind and great weather, more than 15 races were sailed in 4 days.

Strong performances were sailed by all competitors, however it was Ontario athletes, Barbara Kaars-Sijpesteijn in the Byte fleet, and Murray McCullough and Andrew Greer in the 29er fleet that took home the titles.

Many thanks to Susan, Tyler Bjorn, Andy Casey, Campbell, and the U.S. Sailing Centre, Martin County for hosting and running a fantastic event.
