Ontario Sailing Development Team (OSDT)
Overview: The Development Team is a youth-oriented team for athletes primarily involved with Club-based racing teams looking to improve their skills and have greater contact with top athletes and coaches. It is assumed that these athletes will receive primary on- and off-water coaching and regatta support from their respective Club coaches.
Where Ontario Sailing is able to support a Development Team coach, he or she would report to and liaise with the Ontario Sailing Team Coach and work primarily with Club coaches to develop athletes skills at team events and regattas.
