COACHING LEVEL 4 TASK #21
ISAF Racing Rules: Protest & Appeals Procedure
 
Task #21 (ISAF Racing Rules: Protest & Appeals Procedure) is mandatory for Level 4 Certification by CYA.  The goal is to provide the coach with the knowledge and the methodology necessary for the effective teaching or correcting of advanced rule applications by high performance athletes and to assist an athlete in preparing for a protest hearing and/or appeal at an international competition.
 
Location: Royal Hamilton Yacht Club  (for directions, please visit http://www.rhyc.ca/directions.htm)
 
Dates: Friday, November 9th to Sunday, November 11th (inclusive)
 
Times: Friday 6-9pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm (may be altered by the course conductors)
 
Attendance: Open to those coaches registered in the Level 4 program, or graduates of the Level 4 or Level 4 Candidates (must have level 3/Competition Development).  Open also to coaches with International experience currently working for CYA or other provinces.  A limited number of spaces for National Team Athletes may be offered.
 
Fees:  No cost for CYA, Ontario and other Provincial applicants.  Those attending are responsible for their own accomodations and food.

You are required to bring a current Rules Book, note pad and pen.  A computer may be helpful.
