The Ontario Master's Racing Team is a group of individuals that have met the following criteria in order to participate:

 

- Resident of Ontario
- Over the age of 35
- Has Raced in Lasers or Radials for at least two years
- Understands the fundamentals of racing and the racing rules
- Is a proficient sailor
- Is committed to improving racing results
- Has a campaign plan for the year
- Is a member of the Laser Class Association
- Is a member of a sailing club in Ontario
- Pays $400 + GST annually (=$420.00)

Athletes selected for the team must commit to their team camp, training and competitive plan for the remainder of their selection to the Ontario Master's Racing Team or face removal from the team subject to the discretion of the Ontario Master's Team coach(s)

As a member of the team, you will be expected to:
- Attend at least 2 of the four planned clinics
- Support all other team members in logistics, training, fitness and racing
- Participate in fundraising activities as required
