Ontario Sailing and BackCheck have created a system to allow Ontario Sailing member organizations to have their staff or volunteers complete a criminal reference check, or vulnerable sector screen, on-line for a cost of only $25.00 + GST.  The results are sent directly to the organization, usually within a 24 hour turn around time, and support Ontario Sailing at the same time.

 

We know that you would like to trust all your employees but sometimes that trust is not enough. For all of your sailing instructors who are in contact with children and other clients each and every day, your club employees who represent your organization with everything they do, and your board members who constantly make decisions impacting your club, this is an excellent risk management tool that you can use to make sure that you are not putting your club or school at any unnecessary risk. For the inexpensive price it is good to have piece of mind that you did your due diligence.

 

In addition, you will be supporting the Learn-To-Sail Programs at Ontario Sailing. For every check that BackCheck does for Ontario Sailing members, BackCheck will donate $1.50 to Ontario Sailing’s LTS programs.
