Ontario Sailing is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization committed to the promotion and development of all aspects of boating and sailing. Ontario Sailing consists of over 170 member clubs, sailing schools and camps, who represent over 10,000 member families and services over 100,000 boaters.

To foster interest in sailing and to promote and encourage proficiency in the sport, particularly among young people in the Province of Ontario. Ontario Sailing promotes sailboat racing events and encourages the development in boat (sail and power) handling and seamanship.

To be highly regarded in the sailing and boating community as a central resource that exists to foster an interest in safe sailing and boating through a partnership with our member clubs, sailing schools, camps and class association - a federation.

• Ontario Sailing is the Provincial Sport Governing Body for boating and sailing. Our members are member clubs, sailing schools, camps, affiliate organizations and class associations, many of whom have Learn to Sail programs.
• BOOM is a mobile sailing school operated directly by Ontario Sailing.
• Ontario Sailing is the Provincial arm of the Canadian Yachting Association, which in turn is a member of the International Sailing Federation. We work closely with government agencies at all levels to improve safety and promote sailing & boating opportunities in Ontario.
